The Global Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (CMR) Conference 2024 is organized by the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR), European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI) and will be held from Jan 25 - 27, 2024 at Queen Elizabeth II Centre, London, England, United Kingdom.

Moreover, the theme of the CMR2024 Scientific Sessions ‘The Global CMR Conference: Together - expanding CMR worldwide!’, aligns with our overarching goal and reflects the burgeoning demand of CMR as a mainstream clinical tool in every region of the world while maintaining the culture of collaboration. Our program committee, under the helm of Jadranka Stojanovska and Thomas Treibel as Program Chairs, and Claudio Prieto and Theo Pézel as Program Vice Chairs, has put together an amazing lineup of sessions spanning the entire gamut of contemporary CMR science and efficient clinical application while taking patient and physician imaging approach to tailor the CMR exam to the individual patient.

In addition, the program will kick off with three fantastic pre-conferences (Physicians, Congenital, iCMR) and the SCMR-ISMRM co-provided workshop with the theme ‘High-Field Low-Field’. The main sessions will be delivered in eight parallel tracks so that there will always be something of interest for every delegate. In addition to a dedicated congenital track, we are proud of a bespoke Technologist and Early Career/Heart-Imager-of-Tomorrow tracks. Moderated posters, exhibit hall, expert case readings sessions, hands-on interactive workshops and keynote lectures will round off the educational program, along with a wide range of events including mentoring sessions, and receptions will provide ample opportunity to mingle and interact with colleagues and peers. New innovations this year will include a Shark Tank, CMR beyond cardiovascular disease, Climate change and sustainability, workflow efficiency, and TED talks.
