Reality Glaucoma: A Glaucoma Symposium is organized by University of Miami Health System and will be held on Jan 27, 2024 at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, 900 NW 17th St, Miami, Florida, United States of America.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This one-day course is designed for physicians whose clinical practices include comprehensive ophthalmology and adult glaucoma care. Using an interactive, integrated approach, the distinguished speakers will present a variety of vignettes and practice pearls to illustrate topics in the diagnosis, monitoring and clinical/surgical management of glaucoma.
Course Objectives
• Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:
• Make appropriate decision about when to use micro-invasive glaucoma procedures as a primary procedure for glaucoma
• Make appropriate decision about when to use traditional glaucoma techniques
• Make appropriate decisions about how to handle glaucoma surgical issues with traditional and novel surgeries
• Interpret imaging technology to diagnose glaucoma at an early stage
