OVERVIEW

35th National Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Symposium: Clinical Update and Review is organized by Florida Association of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (FANNP) and will be held from Oct 15 - 19, 2024 at Sheraton Sand Key Resort, Clearwater Beach, Florida, United States of America.

Objectives:
The FANNP Symposium began as a small, annual conference designed to coach novice nurse practitioners and students for the National Certification Neonatal Nursing Specialties Examination. Over the past 35 years, the size and scope has broadened. The conference now offers a multi-track curriculum. An expert faculty of leading nurse practitioners, educators,
and physicians present an in-depth exam review, plus insights to the latest trends in neonatal care.

  • Track A sessions are designed for experienced NNPs and nurses to update knowledge with content pertinent to neonatal professionals and clinical practice.
  • Track B sessions are designed as a review for the National Certication Corporation (NCC) Neonatal Nursing Specialties exams, and Continuing Competency Assessment.
  • Sessions in both tracks will fulll NCC Certication Maintenance Education requirements for recertication. Participants will have the opportunity to:
  • Review current concepts, trends, and management practices appropriate for the care of the high-risk neonate.
  • Discuss current issues in neonatal care with a rapidly growing and inuential group of health care professionals involved in high-risk neonatal care from throughout the U.S. and internationally.
  • Download on-line handouts.
  • Network with knowledgeable individuals involved in the care of the fetus and the newborn.
  • Earn additional CEU credits or study and review with an on-demand library of audio-visual presentations available until September 15, 2025.
