European Colorectal Congress (ECC) Spring 2024 is organized by MGA Network and will be held from Apr 14 - 17, 2024 at Forum Fribourg, Fribourg, Freiburg, Switzerland.

ECC Spring offers 64 Expert Lectures and interaction opportunities with key opinion leaders in colorectal surgery from all over Europe. It relies on a decade-long friendship with a large and diverse Faculty and an expert Sounding Board to provide an unparalleled didactic experience with up to 27 CME credits achievable. It can be enjoyed onsite in the medieval city of Fribourg, Switzerland or virtually from abroad.

The 2024 programme has been designed with audience participation and covers the full breadth and depth of contemporary colorectal surgery. Collaborations and joint sessions with major international surgical and gastroenterological societies further ensure high content validity and relevance to clinical practice. Expect the latest recommendations in the care of cancers of the colon and rectum, Crohn and colitis, diverticular diseases, pelvic flooor and proctology, and the prevention and management of complications. Pearls of practice sessions, perspective lectures, and out-of-the box lectures round up the programme.

Two Masterclass in Colorectal Surgery and in Proctology & Pelvic Floor Diseases are offered on Sunday 14.04.2024. They were designed with Janindra Warusavitarne, St. Marks London and Education Chair of the European Society of Coloproctology to provide in-depth and interactive learning of topics paramount to the safe practice of colorectal surgery. As such, ECC Spring Masterclass are ideally suited to prepare for sitting the EBSQ Coloproctology exam or to refresh knowledge.

Also on Sunday, an Advanced Robotic course allows for small group learning from Master Surgeons with a focus on robotic right colectomy and hands-on training on performing an intracorporeal bowel anastomosis
