Combined - Face + Rhino & Breast + Body is organized by The Aesthetic Society and will be held from Sep 05 - 08, 2024 at Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia, Scottsdale, Arizona, United States of America.

Learning Objectives:
Facial and Rhinoplasty Symposium Objectives:

  • Define and analyze advanced concepts in aesthetic surgery of the face, nose and neck to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Recognize the importance of all aspects of facial surgical rejuvenation including eyes, nose and lips
  • Manage surgical and non-surgical complications with an emphasis on patient safety
  • Demonstrate, via cadaver prosections, facial rejuvenation techniques with anatomical visualization.

Breast and Body Symposium Objectives:

  • Evaluate patients’ suitability for breast augmentation, mastopexy, breast reconstruction, liposuction, abdominoplasty, and other breast and body contouring procedures
  • Identify the correct operation for the patient based on anatomic principles, and manage the patients post operatively for optimal safety and long-term results
  • Recognize the latest scientific data on the safety of breast implants and other medical devices used in breast and body contouring procedures
  • Demonstrate the use of high-resolution ultrasound and integrate into practice
  • Identify surgical complications and implement techniques to reduce complications and optimize patient satisfaction.

The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (The Aesthetic Society) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Designation Statement
The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (The Aesthetic Society) designates this live activity for a maximum of 19.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ of which 11 are patient safety. Physicians would claim only credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Attendees are invited to attend either symposium in full or mixed to maximize their educational experience.

  • Please note that attending exclusively the Facial and Rhinoplasty Symposium (without the cadaver lab) will provide 16.5 CMEs. To earn the maximum 19.5 CMEs in the Face and Rhinoplasty program, you must attend the optional cadaver lab on Friday afternoon, without which the maximum total is 16.5 CMEs.  
  • Attending exclusively the Breast and Body Symposium will provide 19.5 CMEs.
    11 of the 19.5 credits have been identified as Patient Safety Credits (8 for the general session and 3 for the cadaver lab).
