ABRCMS Graduate Symposium: November 16-17, 2024

Description:
For over 20 years, the Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minoritized Scientists (ABRCMS) – recipient of the 2019 AIMBE Excellence in STEM Education Award – has been the go-to conference for historically excluded community college, undergraduate and postbaccalaureate students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. As ABRCMS has continued to grow and evolve, it has also become a space for graduate students, postdocs, faculty, program administrators and more.

Graduate Symposium:
The Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minoritized Scientists (ABRCMS) Graduate Student Symposium is designed for graduate students (master’s-level and doctoral-level) from 12 STEM disciplines. The goal of the symposium is to:

Highlight doctoral students' research through oral presentations,
Build all graduate students' scientific networks with STEM and career professionals, and
Strengthen all graduate students' professional development skills
