6-hour Clinical Supervision Training is organized by Arizona Trauma Institute (ATI) and will be held on Sep 13, 2024, at Arizona Trauma Institute, Mesa, Arizona, United States of America.

Description:
The training will provide the participant with 6 hours of education in supervision methods, models and techniques, roles and responsibilities of a clinical supervisor, techniques specific to supervising counselors in the tasks of diagnosis, treatment planning, and providing treatment and evaluation of supervisees. This training will address how supervision is critical in facilitating the development of cultural competence for supervisees. The training will also cover the ethical guidelines and legal requirements for supervisors, using the American Counseling Association’s Code of Ethics and the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners statutes and rules.

Course Learning Outcomes:
• Participants will be able to identify key roles and responsibilities of clinical supervisors.
• Participants will be able to identify specific skills needed to oversee and evaluate supervisees
• Participants will be able to identify ethical guidelines and legal requirements for supervisors
• Participants will be able to identify three strategies to facilitate the development of cultural competencies in supervisees.
