50th Annual International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD) Conference is organized by International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD), K.I.T. Group GmbH Association & Conference Management and will be held from Oct 16 - 19, 2024 at Lisbon Congress Centre, Lisbon, Portugal.

Description:
This year´s motto “Inclusion & Innovation in Pediatric Diabetes”, marks important departures from previous paradigms. The current cutting-edge topics in pediatric diabetes include novel basic research, translational approaches, precision medicine, and the advent of artificial intelligence in diabetes.

We are moving from an era of hormone substitution to disease modification with immune modulation, beta cell replacement, and creating the most advanced automated insulin delivery systems. However, disparities in access to insulin and technologies, discrimination, and diverse challenges that people with diabetes are facing in life around the world cannot be ignored.

These 3,5 days of face-to-face meeting will be a great opportunity for scientists, allied healthcare professionals, partner organizations, industry representatives, and people with diabetes around the world to come together and share knowledge, latest research, and best practices among the international pediatric diabetes community.
