Women in Medicine (WIM) Summit is organized by Women in Medicine® (WIM) and will be held from Sep 22 - 23, 2023 at The Drake, Chicago, Illinois, United States of America.

Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
• Exemplify the advancement of women in medicine
• Cite evidence-based data and peer reviewed studies relating to gender equity and equality and implicit bias
• Analyze the data and research on gender bias and gender equity. Gain the ability to instruct others on the topic
• Identify barriers existing for women physicians and create constructive solutions to be implemented for systemic change
• Develop skills for career development and tools to help create programming at other institutions
• Define strategy to overcome impostor phenomenon syndrome
• Describe the differences between sponsorship, mentorship, coaching, and the utility of each
• Indicate ways to become involved in advocacy through medicine
• Describe the best way to use social media to help further your message, advance your career, gain career satisfaction, and to network
• Identify tools to best utilize your voice to work towards meaningful change
