Description:
The symposium will provide a one-of-a-kind opportunity to obtain an in-depth update on gastrointestinal illnesses from faculty members who are recognized on a national level. The informative discussions that will be given at this symposium will center on significant new developments that were either presented at the Digestive Disease Week (DDW) Meeting or may be found in recent publications. You will also have plenty of opportunities to interact with other students, our knowledgeable faculty members, and representatives from relevant industries.
Statement of Need:
This program aims to provide significant clinical and scientific data on managing gastrointestinal disorders to facilitate the treatment of these disorders.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this symposium, participants should be better able to:
• Explain how recent findings affect patients and their choices for ongoing treatment.
• Provide care for chronic liver and gastrointestinal diseases with updated guidelines
• Discuss the therapeutic, diagnostic, and technological trends that will shape the future of gastrointestinal and hepatic disease care.
