Screening Symposium 2023 is organized by Public Health Association of Australia (PHAA), Inc and will be held on Aug 01, 2023 at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), South wharf, Victoria, Australia.

Description;
Australia is at the forefront of cancer prevention and early detection through its national cancer screening programs-BreastScreen Australia, the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program and the Cervical Screening Program. However, significant challenges remain to maximise participation, in particular ensuring equity of access and culturally safe screening practices, and there are gaps in data needed to support improvements.

The Screening Symposium 2023 program will provide engaging discussions on these topics and contributions from Australian professionals and international experts engaged in cancer screening, through invited plenary sessions and panel discussions.
