On the schedule of events related to public health, the Preventive Health Conference stands out as a significant conference. The Preventive Health Conference is an annual conference organized by the Public Health Association of Australia (PHAA). This conference aims to provide a platform for participants to engage, challenge, and exchange ideas. Additionally, the Preventive Health Conference is where pivotal issues for building prevention in Australia are discussed and where delegates can learn from the experience, opinions, and perspectives of sector leaders and their peers.

As a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Public Health Association of Australia has altered how we will conduct our conferences beginning in 2023. The Preventive Health Conference we have traditionally held in person will now be presented online as a hybrid conference.

Although we are all dealing with significant upheaval, the PHAA is dedicated to ensuring that there will always be chances for professional growth and connection within the community. We are adopting a new method of delivering conferences in an interactive online format and continuing to conduct conferences in the traditional face-to-face style when the circumstances permit it.

Prioritising Prevention: Take Action Now! is the theme discussed at the Preventive Health Conference in 2023.

This year's overarching theme and subthemes have been crafted to empower you to bring about fundamental changes resulting in preventative health actions. We look back at past achievements and experiences in the hopes of gaining wisdom from them, but we also keep one eye on the horizon in search of forthcoming chances and obstacles in the field of public health.

We have devised an agenda to investigate developing tendencies and acquire the skills necessary to deal with these. We want to motivate people to take action at every stage of the process, from making adjustments to how they operate, research, and communicate daily to overhauling entire systems and everything in between. We must challenge each other to move preventative health to the forefront of the policy agenda. This conference will motivate people to act in this regard.

Conference Objectives:
The Conference objectives are to:
• Develop an atmosphere that promotes partnership and knowledge sharing and also promotes engagement among delegates to collaborate to achieve better wellness results for Australians;
• Develop possibilities to talk about problems of variety, disability as well as availability, and supply opportunities for all delegates to get involved;
• Provide support and also understanding into ways of ability building and strengthening avoidance systems; as well as
• Provide conference delegates with brand-new and innovative concepts related to neighborhood settings to help produce and boost preventive health and wellness for regional neighborhoods.
