• Summarize current compliance information and best practices for reducing the risk of infection

• Identify types of tracers which assist in detecting gaps or potential risk points that could affect
•  the safety and quality of patients’ care; implement tracers to evaluate high-risk, problem-prone areas through focused evaluations; and evaluate how tracer data can be used to determine theeffectiveness of process design in the delivery of         safe, quality care 
• Discuss modifications in the accreditation process
