European College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ECNP) New Frontiers Meeting 2023: Psychedelics is organized by European College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ECNP) and will be held from Mar 19 - 20, 2023 at Le Meridien Nice, Nice, Provence-Alpes-Cote d Azur, France.

Description:
This meeting is an essential platform for focused, high-level exchange at the intersection of research science and the development of psychedelics as new treatments for brain disorders. Bringing together a unique mix of scientists, industry leaders, patient representatives and regulators, the meeting will explore molecular mechanisms and pharmacology, neuroimaging, psychological variables, clinical trials, regulatory requirements, and patient perspectives, in order to map out critical research horizons and identify what needs to be achieved in order to move forward with these compounds as therapeutic agents. The meeting is designed for stakeholders interested in exploring how psychedelics are currently re-emerging as therapeutic agents at a much more comprehensively examined level than 50 years ago. The meeting will provide a state-of-the-art overview of where we stand today, and what needs to be achieved in order to move forward with some of these powerful, but scheduled compounds. The major topics of discussion will be molecular mechanisms and pharmacology, neuroimaging, psychological variables, clinical trials, regulatory requirements, and patient perspectives.
