ASGE/JGES Advanced ESD (Course 2) is organized by American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), Japan Gastroenterological Endoscopy Society (JGES) and will be held from Jul 16 - 17, 2023 at ASGE Institute for Training and Technology (IT&T), Downers Grove, Illinois, United States of America.

ASGE and JGES continue their educational collaboration in bringing advanced techniques to endoscopists in the U.S. and Canada. Discover advanced methods of ESD from faculty presentations, including skills-based training of these techniques by the masters in ex vivo and animate models.
Numerous aspects of ESD will be covered with updates and to understand how you’ll learn and engage with the master endoscopist faculty, please review the agenda. As you engage in the hands-on and case-based learning sessions, you’ll receive tailored instruction based on your needs.
Due to the advanced nature of the course, you’ll need to be very comfortable with your endoscopic skills and tip control as well as basic steps of ESD. Submitting a case study (video) is strongly encouraged. The submission will be put in consideration to be selected for presentation and feedback with the experts!
Learning Objectives:
Participants will be able to:
• Identify the risks of ESD and the correct identification and management of complications
• Describe optimal energy delivery and setting of ESU at specific situation
• Differentiate the pros and cons of the different ESD techniques
• Demonstrate ESD techniques for submucosal tunneling
• Demonstrates proper techniques of endoscopic submucosal dissection
• Demonstrates traction method to assist ESD
• Demonstrates closure of defect or perforation with various devices
