The theme for this conference is Impact. It encompasses a humble nod to the profound and pivotal impact Professor John Ritchie – former Director of the Department of Anaesthesia at Dunedin Public Hospital – had on our specialty; along with the impact that a litany of forces in our challenging modern world has on the way we practice our craft. The theme is intentionally broad however at the heart of it all, is the impact we have on our patients.

Our program promises to be packed with outstanding international leaders as well as local experts from across Aotearoa. We hope to provoke thought, instigate discussion, create learning opportunities, and challenge you.
