58th Annual Clinical Diabetes and Endocrinology Institute (CDEI) CME Conference is organized by Clinical Diabetes and Endocrinology Institute (CDEI) and will be held from Jan 21 - 24, 2023 at Viewline Resort Snowmass, Autograph Collection, Snowmass Village, Colorado, United States of America.

Course Overview:
The 58th Annual Clinical Diabetes and Endocrinology Institute CME Conference will address use of technology in diabetes, gut microbiome in obesity, polycystic ovary syndrome, diabetes in extreme circumstances, theragnostics from an endocrinologist’s perspective, antithyroid drug therapy and much, more. The faculty will be comprised of known experts, will offer insights, latest research, case presentations and clinical guidelines. 

Course Objectives:
• Discuss the role of the gut microbiome in obesity and the metabolic syndrome
• Use mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists for their protective role in diabetes
• Employ effective approaches to weight loss and prevention of weight regain
• Evaluate pseudoendocrine disorders
• Diagnose and treat primary aldosteronism
• Choose diabetes technology for appropriate patient situations and interpret data to guide patient care
• Manage subclinical thyroid disease
• Recognize, evaluate and treat polycystic ovary syndrome across the life span
• Develop an evaluation and treatment plan to address dilemmas in cholesterol management
• Formulate a plan for safe monitoring and training in individuals with diabetes undergoing extreme exertion
• Describe the use of radioisotopes for diagnosis and evaluation of patients with endocrine tumors
• Assess and manage endocrine consequences of immune checkpoint inhibitors
• Design a plan for evaluation and treatment of osteoporosis
• Explain fundamental principles for advanced thyroid cancer care
• Recognize the brain as an insulin sensitive tissue with implications in metabolism and cognitive function
• Evaluate and treat patients with pituitary disorders
• Assess cardiometabolic risk in patients with diabetic nephropathy and prioritize evidence-based therapies
• Demonstrate proficiency in evaluation and management of patients with metabolic bone disease
• Perform appropriate testing for adrenal disease to formulate a treatment plan
• Discuss the link between diabetes and bone, and implications for clinical care
• Appraise published data regarding appropriate use, risks, and benefits of antithyroid drug therapy.
