14th Annual Southwest Trauma and Acute Care Symposium (STACS) is organized by Arizona Trauma Association (ATA) and will be held from Nov 16 - 17, 2023 at Phoenix Convention Center, Phoenix, Arizona, United States of America.

The Arizona Trauma Association has come out stronger. We continue to build on our commitment to our community and our members. The past two years have been a very remarkable year for the AzTA. Some highlights include:
- This year’s symposium was a great success with over 2,400 in-person and virtual attendees. Over 50 hospitals were represented from within the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
- We implement Statewide Trauma Rounds in partnership with Az-ACS-COT.
- Delivered our quarterly newsletter to our members and supporters.
- Our policy committee reviewed over 50 Arizona Legislative Bills and submitted our position to the Arizona State Legislature and responded to the public comment period on Certificate of Need rules.
- We hosted our first in-person Tackle Trauma post-quarantine in early 2022.
- Supported Az EMS Appreciation Week with donations to divisions across the state.
- We received a grant from the UofA Center for Rural Health to cover membership in all critical access centers.
- Supported three Stop the Bleed events across the state.
- Opened individual membership.
- Revamping our membership benefits for 2023 to offer more opportunities for our members.
