14th Annual Southwest Trauma and Acute Care Symposium (STACS) is organized by Arizona Trauma Association (ATA) and will be held from Nov 16 - 17, 2023 at Phoenix Convention Center, Phoenix, Arizona, United States of America.

Description:
The Arizona Trauma Association has come out stronger. We continue to build on our commitment to our community and our members. The past two years have been a very remarkable year for the AzTA. Some highlights include:

• This year’s symposium was a great success with over 2,400 in-person and virtual attendees. Over 50 hospitals were represented from within the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
• We implement Statewide Trauma Rounds in partnership with Az-ACS-COT.
• Delivered our quarterly newsletter to our members and supporters.
• Our policy committee reviewed over 50 Arizona Legislative Bills and submitted our position to the Arizona State Legislature and responded to the public comment period on Certificate of Need rules.
• We hosted our first in-person Tackle Trauma post-quarantine in early 2022.
• Supported Az EMS Appreciation Week with donations to divisions across the state.
• We received a grant from the UofA Center for Rural Health to cover membership in all critical access centers.
• Supported three Stop the Bleed events across the state.
• Opened individual membership.
• Revamping our membership benefits for 2023 to offer more opportunities for our members.
