11th Trends in Medical Mycology (TIMM-11) is organized by Congress Care, European Confederation of Medical Mycology (ECMM) and will be held from Oct 20 - 23, 2023 at Megaron Athens International Conference Centre, Athens, Attica, Greece.

Description:
As the first meeting of ECMM was held in 1993, TIMM 2023 will mark the start of the third decade of TIMM conferences. Over the last two decades, TIMM has established itself as an important first-class meeting in the field of medical mycology, attracting frequently over 1000 mycologists from around the world. TIMM has become a global forum in which scientists and clinicians from all over the world present their latest advances and research findings in medical mycology combined with the provision of targeted educational workshops. TIMM-11 will cover new fascinating insights into the biology of fungal pathogens, intriguing host-fungus interactions, updated diagnostic and therapeutic management approaches, changing dynamics in clinical epidemiology, as well as the emergence of antifungal resistance and emerging newly discovered fungal pathogens.

The topics of the meeting are designed to be from bench to bed for basic scientists in medical mycology, medical mycologists, microbiologists, and a wide range of clinicians specialized in e.g., adult or pediatric infectious diseases, hematology/oncology, transplantation medicine and primary immunodeficiencies, critical care, dermatology, as well as immunology, and all others with an interest in medical mycology. Of course, fungal infections in relation to viral pandemics like COVID-19 will be also discussed.
