This conference is designed for healthcare professionals of all disciplines including nurses, advanced practice providers, physicians, pharmacists, dieticians, social work, physical therapists, occupational therapists, respirator therapists or any other licensed clinical practitioner interested in learning more about evidence-based healthcare and how to integrate it into their practice.

Overview:
Evidence-based practice (EBP) has shown to reduce the time in which research takes to reach the bedside. This first-of-its-kind conference at MSK will include both podium and poster presentations designed to showcase actual examples of integrating evidence-based decision making into daily clinical practice. Presentations will include a summary of the high-quality evidence used to make a recommendation for a change in practice, how the change was implemented and measured. A virtual option is available if you are unable to join us in-person.

• Identify methods used to gather high-quality evidence in order to make a practice change
• Recognize successful implementation strategies for change management
• Illustrate the importance of demonstrating the return on investment for evidence-based change
• Discuss strategies used to translate research into daily practice
