Jonas Center Cellular Therapy Symposium is organized by The University of Chicago and will be held on Sep 16, 2022 at David Rubenstein Forum at the University of Chicago, Chicago, Illinois, United States of America.
Description:
This conference will facilitate scientific discussion, foster collaboration, and disseminate knowledge on cellular therapy in order to ultimately improve the lives of patients.
Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
• Identify current applications of CAR T-cell therapy in hematologic malignancies;
• Describe pre-clinical and clinical cellular therapy manufacturing processes;
• Discuss novel manufacturing techniques including point-of-care cellular therapy manufacturing;
• List mechanisms of relapse/resistance to cellular therapy;
• Evaluate strategies to overcome resistance to cellular therapy treatment approaches;
• Describe current approaches and challenges using cellular therapy in patients with solid tumor malignancies;
• Identify relevant targets and new therapeutic approaches for cellular therapy in solid tumor malignancies
• Consider current strategies using cellular therapy for the treatment of non-malignant conditions;
• Assess new strategies in the cellular therapy research including targeting neo-antigens.
