The American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology (ASCP) 2022 Annual Meeting is organized by American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology (ASCP) and will be held from May 31 - Jun 03, 2022 at Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, Scottsdale, Arizona, United States of America.
Who Should Apply
A particular focus of this program is on individuals who are new to the field and have not held the role of Principal Investigator on an R01 grant. Psychiatric residents and fellows, psychology interns, graduate and medical students, post doctoral fellows, pharmacists, nurses, and social workers who have a special interest in clinical intervention research and/or translational research.
Descriprion:
The ASCP Annual Meeting is the premiere meeting each year in the field of psychopharmacology. Bringing together representatives from academia, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), European regulatory agencies and industry to discuss key aspects of neuropsychiatric drug development, including the impact of diagnostic changes and personalized interventions based on biomarkers or genetic information. A Steering Committee chaired by Drs. Susan Kornstein and Mark Rapaport with representation of the sectors that are part of the ASCP community lead the direction of the meeting.
New Investigator Award (NIA) Program:
This program was designed to provide awardees with exposure to the breadth of opportunities available to clinical researchers, introduce them to other senior investigators from other institutions, as well as facilitate the establishment of a peer group for New Investigators.
This unique program consists of five components:
• We will hold a full-day workshop on May 30, 2022, featuring experts from NIMH, NIDA, NIAAA, FDA, academia, and industry.
• An excellent opportunity to present a poster or personal research report at the ASCP Annual Meeting.
• NIAs and meeting mentors will participate in breakfast round tables.
• Attend this award ceremony and meet industry leaders informally.
• Mentor from the new investigator’s field of interest to guide them through the meeting.
