8th Congress of the European Academy of Neurology (EAN)

The 8th European Academy of Neurology (EAN) Congress will take place at Vienna, Wien, Austria from Jun 25 - 28, 2022. The congress is sponsored by European Academy of Neurology (EAN). This year's EAN congress theme is "Putting Evidence into Practice".

Description:
Our goal is for the 8th EAN Congress to be a truly pan-European event, if not the most important event of 2022, bringing together neurologists and neuroscientists to network and share knowledge in order to address fundamental difficulties in neurology. Following virtual congresses held in 2020 and 2021, EAN's 2022 congress will differ from previous EAN congresses in highlighting the latest developments in the host nation.  As part of a hybrid meeting, we plan to maximize virtual participation, building on our experience in 2020 and 2021, and celebrate the opportunity to meet once again in person in a pan-European meeting.

We've planned a pan-European meeting to commemorate the opportunity to meet in person for the first time in a hybrid meeting that will also maximise virtual involvement, building on our experiences in 2020 and 2021.

Topics will include: 
Which clinical trial designs provide the most useful information for practise? What evidence is used to support the use of diagnostic tests? Are guidelines a good way to improve results? How can we ensure that guidelines are followed and implemented? These are important and pertinent questions, and we're looking forward to hearing from experts in neurology and other fields. Leading experts will present the most recent state-of-the-art investigations and the most recent breakthroughs in neurology, as they do every year. In the live Q&A sessions, we encourage all participants to ask questions.
