2022 Neurology Update - A Comprehensive Review for the Clinician is organized by Cleveland Clinic Center for Continuing Education and will be held from Aug 05 - 07, 2022 at The Ritz-Carlton, Washington, D.C., Washington, Dist of Col, United States of America.

About the Course:
The 13th Annual Cleveland Clinic Neology Update is now open. We are pleased to welcome you to the annual course of the Neurological Institute of Cleveland Clinic. We hope that you will find it useful in your ongoing care of neurological patients. We are pleased to present our first hybrid meeting. It is a clinically-focused review course that provides updated information on a wide range of neurological conditions. For better interaction and experience, we have included smaller group breakout sessions. These breakouts will be focused on neuromuscular EMG cases and headache management. Each session will be open to all course participants.

We will be discussing neurological approaches to syncope and neuroradiology (brain, spine) this year. Presentations on stroke (acute updates), epilepsy, multiple sclerosis and dementia will be continued. CNS infections, sleep disorders, CNS diseases, hydrocephalus, and HiFu for Tremor will all be covered in the course. Interactive courses will include time for questions after each lecture. We will encourage active participation through the audience response/polling system that incorporates a self-assessment to see how your answers compare to those of your peers.

CME Self-Assessment Credits will be offered by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. This course is also required to maintain certification as mandated by ABMS.

Objectives:
Upon completion of this enlightening activity, the participant will be better able to:
• Give a current report on advancements in acute stroke care, including rehabilitation, prevention, and treatment.
• Describe recent technological advancements in radiologic imaging and how they have affected clinical practice in neuroradiology.
• Summarize developments in epilepsy therapies and explain how to use them most effectively in clinical settings.
• Get the most recent headache control techniques in each unique case.
• Examine the most recent findings in multiple sclerosis research and how they relate to clinical practice.
• Outline the research on neurologic-associated dementia.
• Identify, classify, and treat a variety of neurologic conditions, such as syncope, movement difficulties, hydrocephalus with normal pressure, sleep disturbances, and CNS infections.
• Describe the evidence in favor of high-frequency focused ultrasound being utilized in clinical settings to treat tremors.
