2022 14th Annual Winter Hip & Knee Course is organized by International Congress for Joint Reconstruction (ICJR) and will be held from Jan 13 - 16, 2022 at Vail Marriott Mountain Resort, Vail, Colorado, United States of America.

Target Audience:
Orthopaedic surgeons, fellows, residents, and other orthopaedic healthcare professionals who are engaged in the management of patients with hip and knee pathology.

Description:
During this 4-day meeting, our esteemed faculty will provide insightful commentary on a variety of topics in primary and revision total hip and total knee replacement, as well as critical issues in practice management, through case-based panel discussions, didactic presentations, and video vignettes. 
There will be a strong emphasis on sharing the lessons learned from years of surgical experience in sessions such as:
• Urban Legends in Total Joint Arthroplasty
• Use of Robotics in Total Joints
• TKA Bag of Tricks: Learning from the Masters
• Complex Issues in Primary and Revision THA
• Enhanced Recovery & Outpatient Arthroplasty
• The faculty will also take a close look at the evidence behind some of the latest technology intended to help improve patient outcomes, explore the role of enhanced recovery protocols in outpatient and short-stay arthroplasty, and address the management of complications leading to revision procedures.

Throughout this 4-day meeting, faculty will present insightful commentary on a variety of hip and knee topics, as well as major healthcare issues related to orthopaedic surgery, including:

• Evaluate patient selection criteria for knee revision surgery
• Understand and compare revision surgical techniques and failure mechanisms
• Identify patients who could benefit from hip resurfacing
• Consider expert assessment of bearing surfaces and related controversies
• Compare the surgical options for the difficult total hip arthroplasty (THA)
• Assess and evaluate perioperative issues and potential complications associated with the THA
