Ethanol Ablation of Complex Arrhythmias Training is organized by Houston Methodist Hospital - DeBakey CV Education and will be held on Sep 17, 2021 at Houston Methodist Institute for Technology, Innovation & Education, Houston, Texas, United States of America.
Target Audience:
This course is intended for electrophysiology physicians and fellows, and interventional cardiologists.
Description:
The course will include formal didactics from experts around the world as well as observational live cases. The techniques to be described include venous mapping to collect electrical signals from cardiac veins. The course will be targeted to electrophysiology attendings and fellows, as well as interventional cardiologists interested in the technique. Both in-person and virtual attendees will benefit from lectures and live case presentations at MITIESM, which is designed to offer exposure to and observation of cases illustrating innovative techniques. Educational Objectives:
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
• Learn techniques including venous mapping to collect electrical signals from cardiac veins.
• Understand outcomes related to the use of ethanol ablation of complex arrhythmias including vein of marshall ethanol for atrial fibrillation, and ventricular vein ethanol for ventricular arrhythmias.
