Spirometry Training Programme - Part 2 is organized by European Respiratory Society (ERS) and will be held from Apr 03 - 04, 2020 at Zagreb, Grad Zagreb, Croatia. Target audience: This training programme is aimed at all healthcare professionals who require a comprehensive understanding and the basic skills in spirometry practice. Pre-requisites: understand and perform basic math operations (multiplication, division, decimals, and percentages) demonstrate an understanding of calculating ratios have access to a computer and internet access to follow online preparatory modules and assessments. Learning outcomes and competencies: • At the end of the training programme, participants will be able to clearly explain and understand each of the key subject areas of spirometry practice including; definitions of spirometric values • knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology required for spirometry • spirometry equipment including strengths and weaknesses, pitfalls and influencing factors to reference values • indications and contraindications of spirometry testing • how to perform quality spirometry and recognition of poor quality maneuvers • how to interpret spirometry tests • quality assurance, including the ability to correctly describe, document, and ensure quality standards and practice. 29th Danube Psychiatric Symposium is organized by Penta Ltd. / Penta d.o.o. and will be held from May 13 - 15, 2020 at Zagreb, Grad Zagreb, Croatia. Description The main topic will be “Psychiatry, Medicine and Society: Homo Deus of the 21st Century and Challenges of Mental Health and Personalized Medicine” with special emphasis on predictive, preventive and person centered medicine and comorbidities, as well as on bridging personal, public and global mental health, compassionate society and empathic civilization.
