Description:
This multidisciplinary symposium brings together experts in pulmonary medicine, thoracic surgery, radiation oncology, and medical oncology to review evidence-based advances in thoracic malignancies. Topics include lung screening, novel surgery, precise radiation, and systemic therapy.

Objectives:
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

1. Enhance participants' knowledge of current evidence-based approaches to the diagnosis, treatment, and management of thoracic malignancies, with the goal of improving patient outcomes and multidisciplinary care.
2. Apply the latest advances in thoracic oncology, including diagnostic techniques, systemic therapies, radiation approaches, and surgical management, to optimize treatment decisions for patients with thoracic cancers.
3. Evaluate emerging clinical research, novel therapeutic strategies, and evolving standards of care in thoracic oncology to inform evidence-based clinical practice.
4. Strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration among oncology professionals by examining complex thoracic cancer cases and integrating perspectives from medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgery, pathology, radiology, and supportive care.
5. Identify strategies to improve patient-centered care, survivorship, symptom management, and quality of life for individuals diagnosed with thoracic cancers.
