Advances in cancer research increasingly rely on close collaboration between basic science and clinical oncology, yet differences in language, methods, and priorities often separate the laboratory from the clinic. This course aims to bridge that gap by fostering a shared understanding of how discoveries progress from experimental models to patient care—and back again.

The course is intended for basic and translational researchers wishing to better understand how clinical research is designed, conducted, and evaluated, as well as for clinicians seeking deeper insight into preclinical and translational research and its role in drug development and clinical trials.
