Leading to BSCI accreditation and working towards SCCT, this course will take you through contrast enhanced cardiac CT 150 cases, preparing you to independently interpret coronary CT angiography (CCTA) under appropriate clinical governance.

Didactic lectures are woven into the curriculum covering physics, acquisition, reconstruction, radiation safety, contrast use, coronary and structural heart interpretation, and non cardiac findings, and supported with supervised hands on case reporting using a GE workstation. You’ll cover a wide range of coronary and extra coronary cardiac pathologies, with carefully selected cases designed to broaden exposure and enhance the learning experience for all delegates.

Cardiovascular CTA Imaging Level 2 Training Course is delivered by an experienced faculty, with over 40 years experience teaching Coronary CT Angiography (CCTA) interpretation. Led by Dr Azhar Khokhar, Head of Cardiology and Cardiac Imaging at the Essex Cardiothoracic Centre, and supported by Dr Ermanno Capuano, the team offer a relaxed atmosphere, with lots of opportunity for questions and discussion.
