Feeling like you want to add more skills to your extremity treatment toolbelt? Then this is the perfect course for you. You’ll learn techniques for the difficult extremity patient, who doesn’t respond well to normal treatments or comes in with a dysfunction you haven’t encountered before. We’ll focus on truly unique joint mobilizations and myofascial release techniques, along with retraining exercises that will help you maintain the improvements you gain in the clinic. These techniques are the “clinical pearls” we’ve picked up over the years that helped us get extremity patients better when traditional treatment didn’t work.

As with all our manual therapy courses, this course is at least 75% hands-on lab, and will give you skills you can use immediately upon returning to the clinic!

Course Objectives:
By the end of this course, you’ll be able to:

• Understand the anatomy and biomechanics behind joint cavitation and when these techniques are appropriate to use.
• Confidently identify and assess joint and myofascial dysfunctions throughout the upper and lower extremities.
• Perform advanced manual therapy techniques to improve joint mobility and address soft tissue restrictions.
• Choose the most effective treatment approach based on each patient’s movement impairments and clinical presentation.
• Apply advanced extremity mobilization and myofascial techniques to help patients move better, reduce pain, and improve function.
