48th Annual Marvin C. Goldstein Lecture is organized by The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University and will be held on Apr 23, 2027 at Augusta Marriott at the Convention Center, Augusta, Georgia, United States of America.
Description:
No single factor has a greater impact on the long-term predictability of restorations than the management of occlusion and occlusal forces. This is particularly critical for the growing number of patients presenting with tooth wear. To improve restorative predictability and reduce the risk of ceramic fracture, careful attention must be given to occlusal design, especially in the worn dentition.
This presentation provides practical, clinically applicable strategies that can be immediately implemented in everyday practice. The principles discussed apply across the full spectrum of restorative dentistry, from single tooth restorations to full arch rehabilitation.
