24th Annual Oral Pathology and Radiology Symposium is organized by University of Florida (UF) College of Dentistry and will be held from Feb 19 - 20, 2027 at Holiday Inn Orlando-Disney Springs® Area by IHG, Lake Buena Vista, Florida, United States of America.

Course Description:
This symposium will present a series of interactive case studies in oral and maxillofacial pathology and radiology, focusing on conditions commonly encountered in both general and specialty dental practice. Participants will explore the diagnosis, radiographic interpretation, and management of a broad range of oral soft tissue, hard tissue, and maxillofacial lesions through clinically relevant case presentations and audience-driven discussion. Topics will include oral potentially malignant disorders, oral cancer, HPV-associated lesions, medication-related osteonecrosis, radiographic abnormalities, and other challenging pathologic conditions affecting the oral and maxillofacial region. Through the use of an Audience Response System, attendees will be able to participate anonymously, engage in real-time decision-making, and help guide discussion to enhance learning and clinical application.

Course Objectives:

• Recognize clinical and radiographic features of common oral and maxillofacial pathologic conditions.
• Develop differential diagnoses using clinical findings, patient history, and radiographic interpretation.
• Identify signs and symptoms associated with oral potentially malignant disorders, oral cancer, and HPV-related lesions.
• Evaluate radiographic findings to distinguish normal anatomic variations from pathologic conditions.
• Discuss current approaches to the diagnosis, management, and referral of oral pathology cases encountered in clinical practice.
• Apply systematic decision-making strategies when interpreting radiographic abnormalities and incidental findings.
• Utilize case-based learning to strengthen diagnostic confidence and improve patient care outcomes.
