Description:
This program is designed to increase attendee knowledge and competence in a variety of primary care topics. These include hypertension, cancer screening, common ENT problems, common GI issues, and current immunization recommendations. All topics presented will utilize evidence-based guidelines from the literature.

Goal:
The overall goals of the conference are to impact the diagnostic and treatment of patients seen in primary care practices.

Course Objectives for June and October 2026 Walt Disney World Orlando:

• Review the most recent hypertension guidelines
• Critique and implement the current STIs/STDs guidelines
• Recognize the changes in management of heart failure
• Manage patients who present with infections from water sources
• Review the current evidence-based guidelines for cancer screening, including the new conflicting breast and prostate cancer recommendations
• Discuss the latest management and diagnosis of dermatologic disorders
• Discuss the management and treatment of common GI disorders
• Review the latest management and treatment of urinary tract infections
• Manage otitis media, pharyngitis, and sinusitis based on evidence-based guidelines
• Understand the recent changes in adult immunization especially for PCV, Shingles vaccines, and COVID-19 vaccines
• Critique and Implement Geriatric Management Strategies

Predicted Outcomes for Courses in 2026
Predicted changes in practice as a result of participating in this activity include the ability to:

• Better manage my patients with hypertension
• Implement the latest treatment guidelines for STIs/STDs
