Description:
The Canadian Neuro-Ophthalmology Review Course is an interactive 2-day course that includes small group discussions and didactic teaching delivered by faculty including world-renowned neuro-ophthalmologists. All levels of learners are encouraged to attend, and Neurology and Ophthalmology residents in their senior years will benefit from the opportunity to consolidate neuro-ophthalmic knowledge in preparation for Royal College exams and clinical practice. The material closely follows the content of the American Academy of Ophthalmology – Neuro-Ophthalmology manual.

Overall Learning Objectives:
By the end of the educational activity, participants will be able to:     

  • Demonstrate competence and confidence in their approach to neuro-ophthalmic disease including history, exam, investigations, and management.
  • Demonstrate the proper tools for approaches (including history and physical exam) to different cases in neuro - ophthalmology, list a differential diagnosis, identify the appropriate investigations, and demonstrate proper cost-effective management.
