Description:
The International Congress on Integrative Medicine & Health is the flagship annual conference of the Academic Consortium for Integrative Medicine & Health. Comprised of over 80 member institutions around the world, the Academic Consortium community brings together clinicians, educators, policy-makers, students, staff, and faculty, all working to advance integrative medicine and health in a variety of fields.

This year’s 2026 International Congress demonstrates how integrative medicine and whole health can drive lasting change across care, research, and education. With a remarkable lineup of plenary speakers, oral and poster sessions, and wellness topics, the International Congress is a must-attend event for any professional in the field of integrative medicine and health.

Scientists, educators, practitioners, and policy-makers from the domestic and international communities will come together to highlight scientific advances pertaining to the field of integrative medicine and health. The International Congress will highlight progress in the areas of:

  • Original research
  • Educational innovations
  • Clinical delivery models
  • Policy challenges

Abstracts, symposia, panel discussions, workshops, and plenary sessions are solicited from the community, and selection is based on peer review for quality, timeliness, and fit with the overall program. The International Congress will convey the latest information on:

  • Safety, efficacy, mechanism of action, and cost-effectiveness of individual integrative therapies and lifestyle interventions
  • Models of integrative care emerging in the US and abroad
  • International priorities and advances in the field
  • Basic and mechanistic research focused on healthy aging across the lifespan, oncology, brain and behavioral health, cardiovascular disease, pain, and natural remedies
  • Scientific updates in integrative medicine, focused on prevention and population and disease
  • The use of data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence in the field.
