Program Description:
This one-day program is designed for clinicians who are actively placing implants and would like to enhance their surgical skills in performing surgical extractions and immediate implant placement procedures. The program will begin with a didactic portion followed by hands-on exercises in the cadaver lab, providing participants with an opportunity to expand their knowledge and refine their surgical skills.

Program Objectives:
At the completion of the program, participants should be able to:

• Understand the latest guidelines for immediate implant placement following a Molar extraction.
• Principles of extractions and immediate implant placement in the esthetic zone.
• Principles of surgical extractions, including flap raising, bone removal, and suturing.
• Principles of removing teeth impacted in soft tissues and hard tissues, upper third molars and lower third molars.
• Identify cases where immediate implant placement following molar extraction will be most effective.
• Principles of socket preservation (post extraction) in the molar region using various biomaterials like human, bovine, and synthetic bone in their various formats plus the various membranes and their ideal use case.
