Description:
This continuing nursing education session strengthens nurse educators' skills in supervising undergraduate clinical students by promoting critical thinking and clinical reasoning through effective questioning, reflection and experiential learning.

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity participants will be able to:

  • identify strategies to foster critical thinking in undergraduate nursing students during clinical learning experiences.
  • differentiate between formative and summative evaluation in clinical nursing education.
  • apply effective approaches for documenting and completing clinical student evaluations.
