This course is designed for the beginner who wants to add socket preservation and PRP to their practice. If you are wondering if you want to perform dental implants and you would like to offer your patients more than extractions, this course is for you. Even if you don’t want to do implant, why refer out the extraction and bone graft. A true live surgery course where you are performing surgery in the very first course you attend! Introducing, The All Inclusive Live Socket Preservation and PRP Course (311), a half-day course designed to cover atraumatic extraction and socket presevation with bone grafting and PRP. This new course is designed to give you and your staff the experience and materials so that you can return to your office and start performing the procedure.
Within the 311 course, the participant will review multiple facets of implant dentistry. The instructional and hands-on foundation includes the basic anatomy and tissue management for simple extraction and socket preservation. Diagnosis and treatment planning give the doctor knowledge planing for socket preservation. We will be discussing different types of bone, membrane material and suturing techniques. Assistants role in serving the doctor during surgery as well as post-operatively with the patient are discussed. Example consent forms, Pre and Post Surgery forms will be given to the participants. Participants will learn the Midwest Implant Institute Externship Program Requirements.
