Description:
American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) is a video-based and instructor-led course that helps healthcare providers develope the knowledge and skills needed for emergency evaluation and initial stabilization of seriously ill infants and children.  Providers will learn how to recognize respiratory distress, shock and cardiac arrest, and provide appropriate lifesaving interventions within the initial minutes of response until the child is transferred to a pediatric advanced life support provider. They will also learn the importance of the resuscitation team concept.  

Course Completion: 2-Year AHA PEARS Card
