This course fulfills the hands-on and didactic requirements for the prosthetic phase of implant treatment as outlined by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO).

• Effective patient communication, encompassing treatment letters, referral processes, and record collection.
• Pharmacology and physiology relevant to implant procedures.
• Radiology and computerized tomography (CBCT) based treatment planning, with a focus on guided implant surgery.
• Implant prosthetics, covering impressions, abutments, and prosthetic kits.
• Grafting materials and techniques.
• Immediate implants, exploring anatomical considerations and limitations.
• Implant surgery, including flap design, suturing techniques, and addressing surgical complications.
• Treatment of single and multiple missing teeth.
• Considerations for esthetic and non-aesthetic zones.
• Overview of multiple implant systems.
• Socket preservation grafting and soft tissue preservation.
• Digital systems, including 3Shape, Nobel, and Simplant.
• Restorative aspects such as overdentures, crowns, bridges, and multiple units.
• Comparison of screw versus cement-retained restorations.
