Description:
This two-day workshop provides a comprehensive introduction to oncoplastic surgical techniques and reconstruction, excluding free tissue transfer. Day 1 focuses on supervised cadaveric dissection, offering delegates hands-on experience in key operative techniques. Day 2 centres on operative video demonstrations and live model marking sessions, enabling participants to develop practical skills in surgical planning and oncoplastic marking. Your application will then be reviewed, and the Education Team will confirm your place.

Aims & Objectives:
To equip delegates with the knowledge and practical skills required to develop and safely incorporate oncoplastic breast surgery techniques into their clinical practice.

Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this course, delegates will be able to:
Describe the principles underpinning oncoplastic breast surgery (excluding free tissue transfer). Demonstrate key operative techniques through supervised cadaveric dissection. Interpret operative video demonstrations to enhance procedural understanding. Perform accurate pre-operative planning and surgical marking for a range of oncoplastic procedures. Apply decision-making principles to appropriate patient selection and technique choice.
