Description:
This one-day program will provide neonatal nurses with innovative therapies in the neonatal intensive care unit. This educational offering boasts information on a variety of complex physiological and developmental neonatal issues. Research and technology are consistently expanding, and this program will review some of the latest therapies used to care for sick neonates.
Objectives:
- Identify best practices for caring for the ELBW infants.
- Describe uses of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare and the NICU.
- Describe pathophysiology of Chronic Lung Disease and the care of CLD patients.
- Recognize best practices for Hydrotherapy in the NICU.
- Describe strategies for supporting families in the NICU.
- Identify best practices for unique diagnosis and therapies in the NICU, including Progressive Mobility, Ventilation Strategies, HIE & Cooling, and Surgical Diagnoses.
