In this CME-accredited in-person MSK ultrasound training course, we teach you how to use musculoskeletal injection as part of the ultrasound imaging technique to provide real-time, high-resolution visualization of the musculoskeletal system, particularly the joints of the knee, shoulder, and hip.

This course offers a dynamic learning experience by combining lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on training to help participants become proficient in ultrasound-guided injection techniques to help their patients manage both musculoskeletal pain and disorders related to the knee, hip, and shoulder.

MSK Upper Extremity Ultrasound Course Objectives:
The course objectives allow participants to:

• Gain an understanding of the principles of ultrasound physics, as well as fluency in utilizing the instrumentation and imaging techniques relevant to MSK ultrasounds
• Identify both normal and Upper Extremity pathological anatomy of the knee, shoulder, and hip joints through the use of ultrasound imaging
• Perform MSK ultrasounds and administer extremity nonspinal injection treatments, like platelet-rich plasma therapy, for common musculoskeletal conditions which affect the knee, shoulder, and hip joints
• Implement best practices in safety and patient care during MSK ultrasounds and interventional pain management injections
