Live Surgical Implant Training is organized by ZimVie Inc. and will be held from Dec 11 - 12, 2026 at Malo Smile USA Elizabeth Dental Implants, Elizabeth, New Jersey, United States of America.

Course Description:
This Clinical training program is designed for General Practitioners to incorporate mainstream implantology into their practices. This program will present practical information to gain a better depth of understanding of the clinical and didactic components of implant dentistry. The program is divided into two parts: The Basic didactic component will comprise the entire range of fundamental principles ranging from diagnosis to treatment planning of dental implant patients with IO Scans, CBCT and mock-ups. The Clinical component will feature live patient training for standard implant cases. Principles of incision designs, flaps and surgical protocols for implant placement and closure will be reviewed. Management of surgical complications and post op instructions including medications will be discussed.

Hands on exercises to include:

• Desktop placement of implants on models
• Suturing Techniques
• GBR Techniques on models

Live patient clinical sessions:

• Delayed implant placement
• Extraction and socket grafting

Course Objectives:

• The importance of bone preservation and techniques to manage extraction sites effectively.
• Principles of atraumatic tooth extraction.
