OVERVIEW

Interventional Interventional Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) is organized by American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) and will be held from Oct 17 - 18, 2026 at ASGE Institute for Training and Technology (IT&T), Downers Grove, Illinois, United States of America.

Description:
Interventional Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) is transforming GI care, evolving from a diagnostic tool into a powerful, minimally invasive platform for advanced therapeutic procedures. Using ultrasound-guided endoscopy, clinicians can now precisely target and treat pancreaticobiliary and gastrointestinal diseases with greater safety and efficiency than traditional surgery.

This immersive two-day course delivers a dynamic, hands-on learning experience designed to elevate your EUS expertise. Explore cutting-edge and emerging technologies, refine technical skills, and gain confidence through real-world clinical case discussions. You’ll actively perform key procedures encountered in practice that include pancreatic fluid drainage and biliary access to tumor ablation, vascular therapy and advanced tissue acquisition.

Whether you’re an advanced GI fellow building foundational skills, new to therapeutic EUS or a seasoned clinician looking to sharpen your technique, this course meets you where you are and pushes you further.

With dedicated hands-on training and expert-led instruction, you’ll leave ready to apply advanced EUS interventions with precision and confidence.

Learning Objectives:
Participants will be able to:

  • Apply advanced patient selection and procedural decision?making to complex interventional EUS cases, including altered anatomy and high?risk clinical scenarios
  • Optimize advanced EUS-guided therapeutic techniques—including pancreatic fluid collection drainage, biliary and gallbladder drainage, gastrojejunostomy, and vascular interventions—through expert device selection and deployment.
Anticipate and manage procedural challenges and complications using evidence-based strategies to improve technical success and patient outcomes
