OVERVIEW

International Anesthesia Research Society (IARS) and Society of Critical Care Anesthesiologists (SOCCA) Annual Meeting 2026 is organized by International Anesthesia Research Society (IARS), Society of Critical Care Anesthesiologists (SOCCA) and will be held from May 01 - 03, 2026 at Hotel Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Overview
Findings from new research and the evolution of anesthesiology practice based on emerging evidence create an inherent gap between existing practice and new practice models. The purpose of the  Annual Meeting is to provide an evidence-based and clinically oriented educational activity that will improve competence and performance in the anesthesiology specialty, resulting in improved patient care and outcomes.

Learning Objectives
After having completed this activity, you will be able to :

  • Describe the latest developments in critical care, perioperative medicine, pain management, and other anesthesiology subspecialty areas.
  • Evaluate gaps in their knowledge, behavior, and patient outcomes that may result in a need for additional education and
  • Develop and apply strategies for integrating new knowledge and behaviors into their profession

The 2026 Annual Meeting has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the providership of the International Anesthesia Research Society. The International Anesthesia Research Society is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The IARS designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 29.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Maintenance of Certification in Anesthesiology Program® (MOCA®)
Physicians wishing to have credits from this educational activity automatically reported to The American Board of Anesthesiology® for the ABA MOCA® Patient Safety CME Credit Program may do so by entering their eight digit ABA identification number when claiming CME credit. Sessions approved for ABA MOCA 2.0® Patient Safety CME credit are designated by.

This activity offers up to 29.0 CME and MOCA® Lifelong Learning credits, of which 18.0 credits contribute the patient safety CME component of the American Board of Anesthesiology’s redesigned Maintenance of Certification in Anesthesiology™ (MOCA®) program, known as MOCA 2.0®.
