  1. Discuss breast screening guidelines and diagnostic work-up.
  2. Explain Cancer treatment pathways.
  3. Outline High Risk Breast Program and Genetic Testing and/or Counseling.
  4. Explain the role of a Nurse Navigator.

ANCC Learning Outcomes:

  1. 50% of nurses will self-report increase in knowledge and confidence speaking to current Breast Screening Guidelines.
  2. 50% of nurses will self-report increase in knowledge and confidence with their role in caring for breast cancer patients.
