HER2026 - Health, Evidence & Research in Women's Mental Health is organized by The American Center for Psychiatry and Neurology (ACPN) and will be held on Oct 04, 2026 at Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Residences Emirates Pearl, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Conference Introduction:
Women’s mental health is fundamental to individual wellbeing, family stability, and community health. Across different life stages, from adolescence and the reproductive years to midlife and beyond, women may experience biological, psychological, and social changes that influence their mental health and overall quality of life. 

Despite growing awareness, many mental health needs specific to women are still not fully recognized or consistently addressed in routine healthcare. This may delay appropriate support and limit access to comprehensive care. 

The 1st Women’s Mental Health Conference has been established as a dedicated platform to advance knowledge, encourage multidisciplinary collaboration, and promote evidence-based care for women. By bringing together experts from psychiatry, psychology, gynecology, oncology, endocrinology, primary care, and allied health, the conference aims to strengthen the connection between mental and physical healthcare and support a more holistic approach to women’s wellbeing. 

This inaugural conference will explore key topics including psycho-oncology, midlife mental health, hormonal transitions, cognitive wellbeing, sexual health, and the role of mental health support within broader medical care. Through expert lectures, panel discussions, and multidisciplinary dialogue, participants will gain practical insights to support clinical practice and improve women’s health outcomes. 

As healthcare continues to move toward more patient-centered and integrated models of care, this conference offers an opportunity to strengthen partnerships across specialties and advocate for mental health as an essential part of women’s healthcare.

Conference Objectives:
At the end of this conference, participants will be able to:

1. Advance understanding of women’s mental health across different life stages by exploring the biological, psychological, social, and cultural factors that influence wellbeing and mental health outcomes.
2. Promote multidisciplinary collaboration between psychiatry, psychology, gynecology, oncology, endocrinology, primary care, and allied health professionals.
3. Support evidence-based clinical practice by sharing current research, clinical experience, and practical approaches to the assessment, prevention, and management of mental health conditions affecting women.
4. Address the connection between physical and mental health by examining the psychological impact of medical conditions, hormonal changes, reproductive disorders on women’s wellbeing and quality of life.
5. Advocate for integrated women’s healthcare by recognizing mental health as an essential part of care, encouraging early intervention, better patient outcomes, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
