Description:
This one-day course is designed for clinicians whose practices include comprehensive ophthalmology and adult glaucoma care. Using an interactive, integrated approach, the distinguished speakers discuss cutting-edge scientific findings and how to incorporate these advances into clinical practice. The course includes non-CME glaucoma surgical device wet labs. A variety of case vignettes, surgical videos, and practice pearls are presented to illustrate topics in the diagnosis, monitoring, and clinical/surgical management of glaucoma.

Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Make appropriate decision about when to use micro-invasive glaucoma procedures as a primary procedure for glaucoma
  • Make appropriate decision about when to use traditional glaucoma techniques
  • Make appropriate decisions about how to handle glaucoma surgical issues with traditional and novel surgeries
  • Interpret imaging technology to diagnose glaucoma at an early stage.
